It’s time for another family recipe from Baldwin! Once again I am referring to the 2005 Baldwin Congregational Church UCC Coffee Hour Cookbook as shown here:
These have proven to be delicious, and entertaining. I’m rather excited about this recipe, so let’s get to it!
You will need:
1 Cup white Karo syrup
1 Cup white sugar
1 Cup peanut butter
1 Teaspoon vanilla
6 Cups Rice Chex
1 Cup blanched peanuts
Bring first 2 ingredients to rolling boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until all lumps are gone. Pour over Rice Chex and peanuts. Put in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.
